First Review in for Dead Force Rising! from Sizzling Book Reviews!
Dead Force Rising has everything from romance to action. I'm pretty sure I even jumped a few times when reading the suspenseful bits of the story line. Dead Force Rising has its own take on becoming one of the paranormal making it a different type of vampire and werewolves story. John and Thorn also share a romance that make for some sensual action of their own. Dead Force Rising is not only recommend for the women who like their heroes in action in bedroom and kicking some evil monsters around, but also for the men who like a thrilling adventure book.

Not your everyday military romance… Force Recon–Beacon Bayou Posted by Tamela Quijas - Romance Author on March 24, 2011
Being raised in a military family, I’ve found many military romances to be soppy stories that make me shake my head in disgust. The accuracy is often missing and the lead hero is too good to be true.
Force Recon was different, and a real treat to read. Where else can you get four fabulous authors such as Lila Munro, JL Oiler, BethAnn Buehler, and Christopher Craven to write a wonderful novel about four military guys that are on retreat, desperately seeking to re-energize themselves after a long haul? Through the interwoven tales of Gunnery Sergeant Brogan Baker, Sergeant Aaron Wolf, Corporal Regan Maxwell, and Chief Gabriel Sanchez, friendship comes into question as it never did on the battlefront.
These stories are filled with emotional drama that made me root for each one of these delicious men, and I applaude the manner in which the lovely writers employed military knowledge into their writing. Their combined skills make this novel a fantastic read!

Have Yourself A Rotten Little Christmas
Review BY: EBook Addict
There’s nothing more rotten at Christmas than a zombie but this little story is anything but smelly. JL Oiler does a great job of showing the funny side of life (or is that death?) as a zombie. And speaking of death, he can come knocking on my door any day if he comes in the form of Ebenezer Grimm. Holly isn’t what the mind conjures up when thinking zombie but there a couple of others that fit the picture well as she attempts to meet the requirements to remain undead and not rot away to nothing. I liked the interaction with her Kelli and I found Holly’s mother charming as she made every effort to marry off her daughter in the hope of procuring more grandchildren. While this story turned out nothing like I’d expected it was a pleasant surprise to discover what was actually between the pages of this Christmas read by JL Oiler. *

When JL Oiler first asked me if I would review her book, I wasn't expecting quite what I got. In my mind a book with a title like that would run along the same lines as Kenyon. Until Ms. Oiler pointed out to me that it was paranormal erotica I wasn't expecting it at all. This being my first time with this particular genre, I was excited and a little nervous as to what I might find, and worried about how I would write my review. I delved into the book and read half of it in a very short amount of time. The story flows easily and quickly, to me bordering on a bit too quick, but I didn't let it bother me because it was a new to me genre. I, personally, could have used a bit more back story, but maybe this is how this type of book is set up, I really have nothing to compare to. Somehow, in only 77 reading pages, I found that I really enjoyed all of the characters. JL Oiler does in 77 pages what some authors can't do in 300 hundred. She wrote some awesome, eye catching, rounded characters that by the end of the book I really wanted to see more of and learn more about. The erotica part was...fun. ::devilish grin:: I was worried that I would see a little story, a lot of sex, and then a little story. Not so! There was sex, and it was erotic, but it fit into the story pretty well, and did not overshadow it. All in all, a great way for a erotica virgin to break into the genre as a reader. I look forward to more by this author, and will be recommending it others!

Blood Dance is AWESOME!! A must read! I loved this book so much, I had trouble putting it down. My favorite part of Mrs. Oilers book is her portrayal of the character Ares. I love Ares, she is one sassy, sexy, hard headed, kick ass vampire huntress, and the oldest of 12 sisters. If you like action packed, exciting sex with lots hunky vampires thrown in, then “Blood Dance is the book for you. I loved your book J.L and I can't wait for your second book in this amazing series

"I will say right off I really enjoyed reading and I would love to read the next book in the series. This book isn't to be released until Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 so if you want to read the book as soon as you read this review you are going to have to wait a couple of weeks but it will be worth the wait I tell you... J.L. Oiler delivers a steamy and thrilling debut paranormal romance novel as well as a wonderful start to a gripping new series that will have to anxious to get your hands on the next book. I am hooked and I can't wait to get my hands on J.L's next book, Blood Dawn, of her Seeds of Oden series which is going to be out in Summer of 2010 if all goes accordingly. I give this book 4 Open Books"
MR Review...by Valkyrie's Lady
"The girls run a club whose primary purpose is to draw in the Clage members so that they can be killed. It works wonderfully until the night Kaden and two of his army stop by and he sees Ares. Will she ultimately give in and become what he wants or will her determination to never bend be the end of her? How are all these various sects intertwined? The answer will surprise you as it did me.
Blood Dance begins what looks to be an excellent series by J L Oiler surrounding the Daughters of Odin and the Nicaeans who ultimately will claim them. The plot was excellent, the loving sensual and I can't wait until June to read the second book!"

Long and Short Reviews.....by Fern
I would recommend Blood Dance: Seeds Of Oden Book One to those who love vampire stories with bite. You get a kick-ass heroine, a hard-as-nails hero, and enough tension and turmoil to keep you turning those pages to see what happens next. J. L. Oiler has created a visual world people will want to revisit time and again.
